All Star Fun Bag: A Fabulously Funny Line-Up For A Great Cause – Adelaide Fringe Review

Gluttony – The Octagon, Sat 28 Feb This one off free event hosted by Hope and Gloria, the lovely, outrageously funny ladies from Titty Bar Ha Ha: Club Titticana was all in the name of a great cause: breast cancer awareness. As there were no ticket sales, all that was asked was to donate to this great cause at the end of the show with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. All artists were donating their time on stage for the afternoon and brought their all to entertain the great crowd. The hilariously comical line up included Chris Turner, Tessa Waters, Dave Hughes, Martin Mor, Bey Dance Crew, Mickey D, Lucy Frost, Georgie Carroll, Amos Gill and Stephen K. Amos. Plus some beautiful staff from BreastScreen SA were in the audience, offering free breast screens after the show. Mickey D has previously raised money for this great cause by running marathons! With over £4000 raised and donated. At this event, he pulled $400 out of his pocket and placed it in the kitty. Stephen K. Amos matched the $400 Mickey D had donated, so even before the end of the show there was $800 in the collection jar. As not only one in eight woman will be affected by this terrible disease, but some men too. The funds raised from this event will go towards research and ultimately finding the cure we long for. With the biggest turn out yet, this year’s All Star Fun Bag raised a grand total of $3,251.55 which will be transferred directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation this week.
