Live And Let Die: A Night With James Bond – Adelaide Fringe Review

Osmond Terrace Function Centre, Wed Mar 4 Tonight’s one-of Fringe performance by The Secret Agents was AWESOME! The performers are Grant Pearson and Jacqui Yeo on vocals, Matt Williams on guitar, David Grice on bass and Steve Staben on drums, and what formidable agents they are. Full orchestrations accompanied this extravaganza of Bond, James Bond music as well as the visuals of the opening scene from each movie they were performing the title track from. The production of this event was perfect, an eye for detail for everything from the table setting, spot on for the movie Casino Royale, costuming for the vocalists through to the sound quality and mix. Everything was exactly as it should be. This event was created here in Adelaide and has had a few outings before, so it was brilliantly polished but it also means that it might make another show later on in the year or maybe even next year’s Fringe, so if you love James Bond, or even if you just love the music of James Bond, this show is a must see and hear.
