The Fringe has been a lot of fun so far, but what happens at The End?  Comedians Max and Ivan think they know, and promise to reveal all in their show of the same name that will be appearing at The Garden Of Unearthly Delights’ Le Cascadeur.

The Clothesline tried to find out more by asking them a few simple questions:

What is your pet hate?

MAX: “Ivan.”

Who is your secret crush?

IVAN: “Max.”

What is your porn star name [first pet/first street]?

MAX: “Ziggy Margate.”

IVAN: “Fisty McTitty-lover.”

MAX: “…really?”

What is your hidden talent?

IVAN: “Comedy.”

MAX: “So very hidden, Ivan.”

Tell us something that people don’t yet know about you.

MAX: “I owe my famous glowing complexion to a little something I call ‘breakfast wine’.”

IVAN:  “If I put a cherry stem in my mouth, I’ll probably choke to death on it.”

How do you deal with annoying people who insist you tell them a joke once they discover you are a comedian?

MAX: “We just perform an hour of dazzling, multi-character narrative sketch comedy at them. Tends to shut people up.”

IVAN: “Alternatively, I’ve got this one about a Chinese priest and a rather attractive –”

MAX: “No, Ivan.”

Which comedian would you 1. Snog? 2. Marry? 3.Avoid?

IVAN: “Elton John.”

MAX: “I’m not certain you’ve understood the question…”

Has anyone literally wet themselves laughing at one of your shows?

MAX : “Ivan has.”

IVAN: “I wasn’t laughing, though. I was just confused.”

If you were a flavour of ice cream, what would you be and why?

IVAN: Elton John.

MAX: “Ok Ivan, I think you’ve over-exerted yourself. Thanks very much for having us and we’ll see you in Adelaide!”

Max & Ivan – The End performs at The Garden of Unearthly Delights’ Le Cascadeur from 7pm on Wed Mar 4 until Sun Mar 15.
