Rhino Room Late Show: Late Night Feasting On Comedy Variety – Adelaide Fringe Review

Rhino Room – Upstairs, Fri 12 Feb The iconic Rhino Room is home to Adelaide Comedy and it is also the home away from home for many talented and well loved comedians from around the globe when they visit our fair city. The Rhino Room Late Show changes every night depending on comedian availability; you just don’t know who will be there each night, but the gamble is bound to be a good one. On this night we were treated to have a stellar line up of comedians that included our host, the funniest Mexican in the world, El Jaguar! Now, if there was ever an interactive host with a quick wit and whose demeanour alone is thoroughly entertaining, it was he. El Jaguar came onto the stage in his red spandex Mexican wrestling attire – complete with singlet and mask – and BOOM! He had the crowd in stitches. There was a definite recurrent theme throughout the Late Show which was more of a ‘conversation than a gig!’ Every single artist, from funny man Asher Treleaven, the fun, filthy musical goddesses that are Titty Bar Ha Ha, the politically incorrect and sometimes underrated American, Eddie Ifft, the quirky Irish comedian Eddie Bannon and our headliner for the night to the star of Australian TV and comedy Tahir, all entertained the audience with their own style and brand of comedy. You seriously cannot go wrong with this event. El Jaguar described them as two balls coming together and BOOM we have a show. As far as value for money goes, Rhino Room Late Show is superlative and delivers nearly two hours of non-stop laughs.
