Rhino Room – Upstairs, Fri 4 Mar

South Australia’s own ‘Jon Snow’ lookalike a.k.a. Hit 107.1 morning show host Amos Gill definitely knows how to entertain an audience for hour and make it look easy. He walks out on stage with a massively cheeky grin and an attitude that nothing is off limits including his early sexual exploits!

Whether it be a frank discussion regarding Hipsters versus Clipsal Bogans versus his father’s curry and awkwardness, Amos has the ability to make any story a fun, comical and sometimes at tad on the dirty side! He is topical and everything in this show is relevant to all age groups as he has this innate characteristic ability to communicate and express himself freely and openly without discourse. He is also an ideas man, including douchebag demerit tickets to make our city safe again, he could be Adelaide’s modern superhero!

It’s probably lucky that radio has a ten second delay as Amos swears like a trouper and the entire show is based on awkward sexual encounters including his own. So if you are easily offended by topics of a sexual nature, this isn’t the show for you. However, if you enjoy listening to a confident young man whose eye opening views on the world are presented in such a way that you will spend the entire hour laughing uncontrollably, go see Amos Gill.

Amos is an intellectual, observant, political, sexual, jovial and an outstandingly brilliant comedian who’s show flows seamlessly. He’s observations of Adelaide, it’s people and culture is nothing less than marvellous and his delivery is phenomenal.  His ideas on how people think, the future and social perspectives on current issues and trends are so unique and positive, that you can’t help but listen to what he has to say. This show is definitely a must see at this years Adelaide Fringe. Five tickets from me!
