Rhino Room – Upstairs, Sun Feb 22

With two of the most fabulous hosts, Hope and Gloria from Titty Bar Ha Ha, leading the night, the audience is treated to some tantalising tit bits from a range of artists performing at the Fringe this year. There is comedy, dancing, burlesque and a good dose of audience participation and tequila! The show has started before it had technically started with the delightful Party Spirits warming the crowd up for what was most certainly a fun night.

Bec Hill was first up showcasing her favourite gestures and her amazing magical mind reading device, followed by some Bollywood dancing from Liz Cahalan and her handsome unsuspecting dance companion, with Cal Wilson rounding out the spectacular first half and explaining her favourite Australian sayings.

The second half brought a shimmy and a shake from Lolly Dolly and her partner followed by Lyra La Belle’s stunning burlesque performance with Aunty Donna finishing the show with their own interesting brand of sketch comedy.

Gloria and Hope were the perfect party host’s, providing a night packed full of fun, games, alcohol and wonderfully hilarious original songs. They rolled with every punch as they battled with a few small technical difficulties, making it seem as though it was supposed to be that way. The gorgeous Party Spirits added that extra sparkle, keeping the party spirit going all night.

BACCHANALIA was certainly the most fun you could have on a Sunday night, and, to put it in the words of Hope and Gloria, it was “vintage”!
