Belgian Beer Café ‘Oostende’, Fri Feb 13

Grab a beer and a seat and come witness the fast-paced transition of four random and ever-changing international comedy gurus onstage, to get a taste of some of the shows you may like to see at this year’s Adelaide Fringe.

The Fringe is full of amazing acts and sometimes it can be difficult to choose what you may like, sight unseen, so the show at the Belgian Beer Café takes a little of the mystery out of it all by offering four for the price of one. We had the pleasure of seeing Vladmir McTavish, who revelled in a little self-deprecating humour as he admired his own likeness to Annie Lennox, and Mick Price who loved trying to explain his Cornish heritage without mentioning the word ‘pasty’. A hysterical set including Canadians and Brits guaranteed something to suit every taste.

The Belgian Beer Café is great for kicking back for a few hours and, discounted tickets can be on offer later on if you stick around. God help you if your name is Nigel or if you dare to look like you may be challenging whomever is on stage!
