Hindmarsh Square, Sat 13 Feb
What an amazing, different and fantastically tiring way to see the city of Adelaide. If you are after adventure, then Citydash – Escape From Wonderland will fill the criteria.
Immersive, challenging and exhilarating fun; where meeting new people and inviting strangers to assist you is all just part of the game. On arrival at Hindmarsh Square you are greeted by the Hare and Mad Hatter, invited to play Flamingo croquet with the White Rabbit and Queen of Hearts all while sipping on your purchased ‘mocktail’ from the Mockturtle bar.
Everyone is given a ringing book, a few starter clues and then receive further clues as you run your race past places and shops you would normally never notice. But playing this game, you get to see them all in a new light. We have alleys and lanes in our city that you might discover for the first time, all thanks to this adventure. Keep your eyes peeled and an eye on the clock and don’t be afraid to ask that friendly looking stranger for help while you dart about the city of Adelaide deciphering clues and collecting answers. Don’t forget to peer around that corner though, if you don’t you may just lose your head.
Be sure you get along well with your team, as once you’re down that rabbit hole, your communication skills WILL be tested. But if you can work well as a team, stick together and keep your wits about you, you will find your way back to the Mad Hatters Tea party and your way back from Wonderland.
