[CABARET/COMEDY ~ VIC]

Gluttony – The May Wirth, Tue 26 Feb.

For those who remember Graham Kennedy’s Blankety Blanks, this show may bring back some lovely memories. Dolly enters stage and sings her own version of Love Is In The Air. Her breathless voice welcomes us to the tent and shares she has been so looking forward to this show, for the last 20 minutes!

On the celebrity panel tonight is Zach Zucker who returns to the fringe with three shows, Geraldine Quinn who is presenting NEON, Marcel Blanch-de Wilt who is running the National Wine Centre events, Local identity Vonni who is launching a new variety show called SHOW OFF downstairs at Mary’s Poppin on Friday nights, Josh Glanc has a stand up showGlance For Having Me and Heather Croall – Adelaide Fringe’s CEO – who informs us that 385,000 tickets have been sold so far this year – good to see, Adelaide and friends! Of course we need two contestants to play this game, and two lucky audience members were more than happy to oblige.

The game is much the same as the TV show, but a bit more risqué; who knew that was even possible?! As the panel changes each night and different audience members will be participating, I can imagine that each show will have its own atmosphere and laughs, I am sure, will still be bountiful.

A nice little impromptu moment in tonight’s show saw Dolly get inducted into the Red Hatters, as a Junior Pink Hatter. May she always try new things and have fun!
