Henrietta’s at The Henry Austin, Tue 28 Feb.

Poignant story… stunning voice… incredible stage presence; Don’t Worry, She’s Got It Covered! Amy Bodossian braved a hot night in front of a sold out audience at The Henry Austin to tell an eye-opening story of romance through her exceptional poetry and musical prowess. What beginsDon't Worry I've Got It Covered - Adelaide Fringe 2017 - The Clothesline (2) as a reasonably upbeat tale of an evening at a Prince concert with her ‘roommate’, quickly turns into a humorous, but heartfelt and confronting journey about the trials and tribulations of her relationship with the latter.

Supported brilliantly by Patrick Wilson on the guitar and piano, Bodossian weaves songs from artists such as INXS, Roxy Music and Peggy Lee into the enchanting narrative of her show. The astonishing range in her voice gave each piece a unique flair that kept viewers engaged throughout. Bodossian also utilised a lot of facial expressions, subtle movements and humorous anecdotes to make this performance equally as funny as it was heartfelt! The only issue a nit-picker could have had on the night was that the show went over time… much to the delight of the audience!
