Frank Ford AM is affectionately known as the ‘Father of the Fringe’. He was the founding chair of the Adelaide Fringe, and was instrumental in creating what is now the largest festival of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere – the second largest in the world.

A lover of Cabaret, Frank went on to create our internationally-acclaimed Adelaide Cabaret Festival, the largest festival of its kind in the world. The Adelaide Cabaret Festival presents artists from Australia and the world to South Australia and lovers of Cabaret.
