[CHILDREN’S/CIRCUS ~ SA PREMIERE ~ VIC]

The National Wine Centre – Exhibition Hall, Sat 2 Mar.

Right from the get go, there are giggles galore from the audience – children and adults alike! From the beginning when the cast are being introduced and then dramatically cut down to just the two of them, the plane ride and then them parachuting down to the jungle, they do an amazing skipping rope display to the Guns N’ Roses anthem of Welcome To The Jungle, the smiles are permanently glued to our faces.

Leigh Rhodes and Bede Nash from Odds & Ends Circus are on a mission to collect the six clubs of mystery. Entertainment ensues, with a mixture of juggling eggs, hoola hoop displays, acrobatics, slapstick, inflated glove chickens doing Swan Lake, getting married and doing the Tango all of it comedy gold! Let’s Get Wild is very interactive and the boys handle the over excited children with ease, well done to them!

Some of the quotes from the children in the audience includes “That’s amazing”, “They’re funny, aren’t they!” and “He’s cool” and I have to agree! This show, although aimed at children, is entertaining also for the adults accompanying their little ones, making it a win-win for everyone.
