Carclew House And Grounds At Carclew, Sun 19 Feb.

Step up! Step up! To the #Nofilter Fair!

Carclew was the majestic setting for this gentle, relaxing afternoon in North Adelaide showcasing local musicians and artists. The Gothic style NoFilter Fair - Adelaide Fringe 2017 - The Clotheslinemansion was deemed by Don Dunstan to be an ideal setting to support youth arts, and this Fair was in keeping with Carclew’s mission of respecting the heritage value of the house and grounds while hosting events suitable for children and young people.

Carefree childhood pursuits included fairy floss, a bubble maker, face-painting, croquet, giant playing cards and more. Time seemed endless, and there was plenty of room to relax in while being entertained by a variety of performers and musicians. Creativity was the focus, so our friendly and talented young Adelaide artisans were displaying their wares – some excellent and innovative ideas! To further nourish the soul, the food was yummy AND healthy (vegan and gluten friendly too) with lovely local produce and brews.

A little bit hipster, a little bit family, a relaxing day was on the cards as the gentlefolk picnicked and played, having all the fun of a fair.
