Remember Doctor Bubble: The Bubble Magician @ The Jade Monkey – Adelaide Fringe Review

The Jade Monkey, Sun Feb 22 It’s hard to go wrong with anything associated with children if you add bubbles into the mix. And not just any bubbles, I mean life-size, room-soaking, hair-decorating bubbles for everyone. The Jade Monkey is such a great venue for this show; adults on tables with a wine from the bar and great air conditioning, kids at the front on the mats ready for action. And there was action aplenty! Fabulous clown Milkshake and her serious friend Aaron – who lost his serious face in Bubbletopia – lead us through their cackling, colourful and chaotic story with a lovely message at the end that our small critics understood (aged three and six). Very likeable characters and excellent interaction with the small ones, and the dancing, bubbly mess at the end meant that everyone was involved and just a little bit damp. Sensational show so be sure to bring a camera for the end if your child ends up in a life size bubble!!
