Sacred Cacao Sound Journey: A Spiritual Experience From And For The Heart ~ Adelaide Fringe 2020 Review

[EVENT ~ Fiji] Adelaide Yoga Flow, Thu 20 Feb. From the moment we arrive, permission sought and granted, everything about the journey we will be taken on is a deliberately crafted experience from the hearts of Jay Hoad and Nicole Tretiakov, to ours. The air and your aura are cleansed by sage, deliberate intentions are requested and anointment take place while our bodies find our place and begin to make ourselves comfortable within this warm inviting environment. The sacred cacao ritual of the opening of our hearts is explained and the realisation that we are in a safe space for any of the feelings that might come up for us throughout this process, feelings of joy, laughter, sadness or the need to move are all encouraged. Jay then uses his knowledge of many disciplines to assist in each of our sacred journeys. We partake of ceremonial cacao and an with the beginnings of gentle strumming to the beatings of drums and the vibrational sounds of the didgeridoo, Jay's musical prowess and his obvious generous and loving nature brings a calm to the area for all to see and feel. We then all participate in an intensely private adventure yet we share it with those around us, each participant keeping their intentions close by and in focus. Once the musical part of our journey comes to an end, we are asked to partake in a fire ceremony, separate from the space we have been in but just as connected in intention. With the close of this Sacred Cacao Sound Journey we are each asked to utter a word or two about how we are feeling and the words or ‘Love’, ‘Calmness’, ‘Gratitude’ and ‘Forgiveness’ are uttered more than once.
