The Garden Of Unearthly Delights’ Umbrella Revolution, Wed Feb 18
Sam Simmons continues to grow and develop as a comic and this year is no different. Whilst you could never say mainstream, his offering is just a tad less obscure than previous years and the packed tent vouched for his popularity.
Simmons’ is hysterical; rarely have I laughed non-stop for an hour. Super-fast delivery with an interactive soundtrack, his exploding lettuce, underwear modelling, and childhood memory riddled show has something that everyone will relate to, including the amazingly funny ‘What Shits Me’ segment as a running theme through the program.
Beware if you have the name Chad or if your preferred breakfast is something that stirs bad memories from his past, Simmons delivers the wittiest and mesmerisingly clever show yet, and one that you won’t regret seeing. Duck your head into his kooky mind for an hour and check it out. You’ll see me there again this year for sure.
