Tuxedo Cat’s Mayall Room, Thu Feb 26
Short sharp and shiny with an added message you only got if you looked at the screen, the show is set in a karaoke bar, where we get to meet some of the characters, that if you have ever been to a karaoke bar, you will have met before.
Jo Zealand delivers these characters seamlessly making it easy for her audience to see the difference between them. Her banter with the audience is clever too.
This show is just a short little WHACK – but we wanted more WHACK as the show seemed to be over quite quickly.
A lot of laughs packed into a short show – with an enjoyable look at some whacky people. Be prepared to get involved by singing along with songs and drinking the bars vodka and eating its chips, and our crowd eventually joined in on harmonies that weren’t there.
Clever show but would have liked to see a couple more characters along for the ride.
